Playwriting Workshop with Atiha Sen Gupta

Hello!

I’m Atiha and I’ll be running a workshop with Down Stage Write on 5 December exploring the different writing styles of playwrights.

Writers range from the naturalistic to the absurd – with many stops along the way. Join us on that journey as we delve into the words of writers like Arthur Miller, Harold Pinter, Caryl Churchill, Roy Williams and Dael Orlandersmith.

Come and contribute – what makes an arresting writing style? Have you experimented with different writing styles before settling on one? And once chosen, is a writing style fixed forever or something that can evolve with time?

I hope to see you there.

*This workshop will take place on Zoom. You will be emailed the link 24 hours before the workshop begins.

PLEASE NOTE: A number of bursary places are available for this workshop including free and discounted spaces. To apply please email: info@downstagewrite.uk
