I thought that Down Stage Night at the Exeter Phoenix was fantastic! A solid first outing for a company who have clearly identified a need In the region which they are responding to in a creative and productive manner. The night itself had a strong atmosphere and, aside from showcasing new writing from a number of South West based writers, created an informal opportunity for writers to network with other artists and producers invested in new writing , something which is essential for early stages playwrights.
— Ben Lyon-Ross, Talent Development Officer at the Theatre Royal Plymouth

Brilliant. A fantastic evening. Amazing writing, directing and acting. A great mix of ways of highlighting feminist issues and Astor 100.
