The opening scenes of your play is vital to kickstart the storytelling. What gives a play opening punch? What do we have to consider when building the first ten pages that has real impact for an audience and possible commissioners? How do we make our audience forget the world outside? This session will include examples of great opening scenes, discussion and exploration of character and pace.
